Exhausted

This is literally how I feel every day... like I'm gonna fall asleep the second I walk in the door. I am the worst wife in the world! I don't clean anymore, except when the house is so dirty it makes me feel even worse, & then I'll clean. and this is what Sean lives on now...

Actually, that very one. He loves the country fried chicken & gravy. He is a nice husband & frequently tells me (while I'm crying) that I"m not a bad wife. Man I'm ridiculous!

I am also the worst young womens president in the world. I finally told my counselors a few weeks ago that I was pregnant so they wouldn't just think I was the worlds biggest flake, which I'm looking like anyways. None of my yw know yet. I'm ditching out on a volleyball activity because I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open.

If I keep typing, there is a strong possibility that I might start to cry. Sean is keeping a list of stupid things I cry at which includes an onstar commercial.

I hear that I'm about to enter the "honeymoon" phase of my pregnancy... & I CANT wait! Just as long as I can get some energy back!!!!!!

Sleepover!!!!

Sean went camping with his dad, brothers, uncle & cousins this weekend, so I invited ALL of my nieces over for a sleepover!!!! Pizza, ice cream, go fish, girlie movies.... it dosn't get better than this!
I honestly didn't even think about how many of them I had invited over until Michelled dropped them off & asked me if I was sure I could handle this. Six girls?... thats nothing! I did however have to make sure I was prepared before they got there, cause I couldn't fit 6 girls in my accord. Luckily there was only a few times that someone felt left out & only one incidence with my exercise ball almost ending up in the sink... otherwise.... I'm a pro :)... really though, it was alot of fun. I hadn't seen the movie Aquamarine yet, so I was excited. Hopefully I'll have a girl so we can do girlie things together :)

It's a Baby!!!!

For those of you who thought the day would never come... it has!!! Sean & I are going to be parents! I thought about calling People magazine & selling my baby's first pictures for millions, but somehow, after seeing these, I don't think I could pay people to look at these! ... so I'm forcing you to! :) The first picture is a profile of the baby. When Sean asked why the head was so large, both I and the ultrasound lady assured him it was normal. I'm not sure if for a split second he thought he might have a freakishly smart child, or maybe just a freakishly wierd looking child.
Now this next picture is something like those optical illusion pictures... you have to stare at it awhile before you see something, & it's quite possible you may never see that this is our baby sucking its thumb.
I love this picture cause those are its little legs & feet up in the air. When I was first pregnant, Sean refused to let me tell him about what was happening with our dividing cells because he said it sounded like a science experiment & not a baby happening, so I think he was very surprised to find that our baby actually has all its parts. He said out loud- does it have arms and legs yet? Us ladies just laughed & pointed out that not only is it a human baby, but it has its little toes as well!
I always sighed when people brought out their ultrasound picture.. & now I am that woman showing them! Seriously though, hearing its heart beat & seeing it move around was amazing. These still shots dont do that baby justice! We have little video that they gave us of the whole ultrasound & when you actually see it you can see the baby somersaulting around & sucking its thumb & raising its arm & see its little elbow & then baby actually looks at its own hands. I called up my mom & told her I was bringing the video over to show them. When I walked in my dad called from the other room- did you bring the video? I thought it was sooo cute when I realized he was actually talking to me about the ultrasound & he wanted to see it too. It's hard to believe its all really happening. We are both very excited! The baby will be here around the first part of November , so I am 12 weeks right now. I've never been so tired in my freaking life. Sean is sick of eating out cause I'm having difficulty pulling my butt off the couch after work to do much of anything! I just get soooo tired!!!!!!! Luckily I haven't been throwing everything I eat up, like the girl that I work with that is due about the same time as me. So there it is! Our great news!!!!

wow

Take a good look my folks... this is the subject of my blog. Sean's grandpa left him this 9mm Ruger when he passed on & Sean really loves this gun. He is even so kind to leave it next to my bed when he leaves on scout outings, in case some crazy person comes breaking into the house (not that I've shot it enough to use it in a crisis such as that...). Yesterday Sean & his dad & brothers went on a day trip to fish & shoot & explore... the kind of thing Sean lives for. What I did not understand is that they drove all the way to Alpine because Sean wanted to explore the upper Black River. I understood that very well when he got home last night at about 11:30 & was in a panic because he couldn't find his gun anywhere. This morning we woke up & made the drive back to the Black River to look for the very sentimental gun. His brother Ben & friend Brandon came with us. Brandon is very entertaining, so its nice to have him on a 10 hour round trip. Oh man... I'm so tired. When we finally got to the deep recesses of where Sean explored to to start back tracking.... we got out & started to comb the area. Of course, what did I find? His gun.. thats right... me! This is the second time he has in a panic "misplaced" this gun & I have found it for him. Thats what wives are for, right? I seriously had no idea they went that far yesterday & by the end of the trip was getting slightly frustrated. We did get to see some wild turkeys & Ben did get out & chase one for while which was slightly entertaining. Now we are back and the gun is safely home once again & Sean is happy with a smile... & that made the trip ok- but if we didn't find it....

Are you finished?

You know those stupid commercials that you see all the time, but every once in awhile one makes you laugh for some stupid reason? Well this is mine... Sean laughs at me because I laugh at the end when he mumbles... "are you finished". It makes me think of when I was younger & me & Kelli or Phil would always do stupid things like copy each other... ok, wait- maybe that was just me!

Helloo!!! La la la!!!

Ok, I have been informed that the picture of the akward kid needs to be passed on. To tell you the truth... not a whole lot has been happening! Sean got his wisdoms out 2 Wednesdays ago. When the oral surgeon told him he would be out a week, I really didnt' believe it. But it was true!! He missed a week of work & had some fun with dry sockets. After the 3rd appt to have them packed, he told the OS he didnt' want it done anymore, & just wanted to work on healing up. Poor guy. He had a relapse last Sunday & started taking the pain pills again. That night he woke me up every 2 hours or so to tell me how wierd he was feeling on the pain meds. He confessed to me that he would never become a druggie, cause he hates the way he feels. Phew!!! Dodged that bullet!!

Poor Sean, he was getting really restless last week. The day before he went back to work he decided to start organizing our little house. Now, embarassingly enough, our 3 bedroom home cosists of 2 junk rooms. With a handy husband & no garage, one room looks like a toolbox exploded. The other just has "stuff" in it. We decided to take on room & build shelves across the wall & just give it up as a "utility" room. Which means I get to actually have 2 real live functioning rooms!

I'm thinking some food storage will fill these shelves as well. Now dejunking dosn't happen in a day, or even a few... definetly a work in progress- almost there! Sean also got a temporary toolbox (meaning its not a billion dollar snapon toolbox) so his tools won't be scattered everywhere... all the time anyway. We are both happy about this. I guess we always have to be improving life or it would get boring... fact is- shouldn't have been this way in the first place.. but oh well!!!
Sean put the dog beds under the shelves & then told Alex to get in her bed. She was very obedient & found it & layed on it, even though it wasn't in its usual place... Red will not follow suit. He has been wandering around aimlessly the past few days looking for a bed.

One last little tid bit... our ward building was taken over by bees today! After sacrament meeting, one of my counselors came down the hall & said the primary took over the young womens room because the bees took over the primary room. There was a hive outside & they were coming in through some vent, but as far as we could tell, only getting into the primary room. The rooms were closed, giant signs put on them ( as well as the doors leading outside where the hives were) & as far as I know... nobody stung. I knew as soon as Sean heard about it he would be standing outside the primary room offering help. As some of us know... Sean has a wierd obsession with bees & thinking he can get rid of them because his best friend & bf's dad used to get rid of bees for people. He is so cute sometimes! Bishop just kept chuckling & I'm not quite sure if it was cause he was humored or cause he thought he was crazy... whatever!!!

I've been rambling awhile, but wanted to say one last thing- I never realized how amazing the relationship I have with Sean was until neither one of us were feeling so hot. Its comforting knowing that I have someone who loves me enough to try & take care of me when he isnt' feeling well either. I hope I give that to him also. Man I love that man :)

Dental Fun

Today Sean got his widsom teeth pulled! Yippeeee! Now, I know this isn't Sean, but he probably wouldn't be very happy if I put a picture of him all swollen on here!
and this isn't really his x-ray, but his x-rays literally looked just like this! He had to get them taken out cause his lowers were starting to eat his 2nd molar roots. Amazing, huh?

On Monday I made a visit to the orthodontist & got my implant taken out (with only some topical anesthetic) & a new wire up top. Needless to say, Sean & I are both on a soft food diet right now.
Sean's good friend dropped him off at the oral surgeon this morning & then I only went in to work for a few hours & then picked him up. He was there for 2 1/2 hours!!! They called me back to come get his perscriptions & post op instructions. He was so cute sitting there on the little recovery bed all swollen & sleepy looking! He told me he was 80% awake. but the way he was talking I don't think he was quite there. He really wanted his teeth to take home, but they told him they were all in pieces cause they had to be sectioned & drilled to get out. He leaned over after the assitant left & whispered that he wanted to go looking for his teeth & he was sure they were around somewhere. He was very suspicious that the oral surgeon took them home as trophies.
Well, I drove him home & then his dad stopped by & he has been sitting here visiting with him instead of resting. He is complaining that he is feeling some pain, but won't just rest!!!
I just went to the store & stocked up on gatorade, applesauce & jello! Isn't life grand :)
