Camping!

A week ago we went on a 5 day camping trip. It was fantastic!!! We finally got to take the 5th wheel on her maiden voyage after her plastic surgery. She did great :) We went from Wed-Sun & camped at Bear Canyon Lake. Sam has been begging Sean to go fishing for a couple of months, so they had an awesome time fishing & I had an awesome time just enjoying the quiet of the woods!

You have to hike down a ways to get to the lake & I, being the trooper that I am, hiked in with Joe on my back. However, I didn't realize how little room to sit there would be at the bottom, so the first day was the ONLY day that Joe saw the lake!

Sam had SO much fun!! So much, in fact, that he fell over with excitement, right into the lake. Who didn't see that coming?!! Luckily, being the awesome mom I am, I had an extra shirt for him.

this is what we did.. sleep, eat, sit around the fire, fish, & NOTHING! It was great!! We actually stayed up way late around the campfire talking- much later than I normally stay up.

We had such a great time & can't wait to take the 5th wheel back out!! We had never camped at Bear Canyon before but it was awesome! It met Sean's requirement of not camping right on top of our neighbors!!! We could hear them occasionally, & see them occasionally, but weren't too bothered. Good times :)
