We took another small trip on Saturday afternoon & Tiffany, Caio & David came along too. We drove up near Senecca & enjoyed the cooler weather & cooked out.
Sammy is 3 weeks away from his 1st birthday & has been well over 20 lbs for quite some time! so we decided to have a go at his facing front carseat since he tends to hate sitting the other way. He was ecstatic!
so much that he fell asleep within the first 5 minutes of us being in the car...
and woke up with the most awesome bed head your ever seen!!!

Sam thought that the picnic table was his personal jungle gym & proceeded to climb all over & through it all night long.
Here is Sean making an awesome fire.. one of his favorite things to do.
Sammy is the biggest Daddy's boy I've ever seen!!! He wants to do everything just like Dad... including be near the fire!!! We definitely need to keep a close eye on this boy!!!!
Sean definitely has a way with Sam. He loves him alot & Sam likes to be comforted by dad. & Sean has a special way of getting him to sleep too. or maybe I just like to let him deal with him when he's tired. :)
Another fav game- putting his fingers in our mouths... very great when outside in the dirt.. .or not
Sean lives for being outdoors. It was so nice to sit outside & see the amazing stars above us & be in the quiet nature. It was very nice to be in cooler weather... can't wait for it to catch up here!!! Biggest lesson learned... Sam needs some shoes he is capable of walking in!!!

I always like it when my babies can finally face forward in the car. They are so much happier that way. One draw back though...you can't eat snacks in the car anymore unless you want to share!

You'll have to get Sammy some squeaky shoes.. they are the best first shoes because the are usually made with all upper leather and best of all they squeak.. which he's gotta love!! My niece has some and they are too cute!!!
You are so good at taking pictures and documenting stuff I am really bad at that. I love the captions you put on them, they crack me up.
