Great day.. kinda

Today was great.... kind of. Sean has been gone since Thursday night, camping with his dad, grandpa, & 2 younger brothers. I've definitely mised him. It's hard sleeping in a haunted house all by yourself!!!!
This morning I woke up, got a manicure :), bought a new shirt... & had a baby shower!! The shower was great! I got to see alot of people I haven't seen in awhile & got a ton of really cute outfits & blankets & baby stuff :) Fantastic!!!

Towards the beginning of my shower Sean text me to let me know he was back... & that Justin, his youngest brother, had a little accident on the dirt bike & broke his poor little wrist :( They were between Globe & the Salt River Canyon when it happened. Sean heard Justin calling for him & found him on the ground all hurt. They quickly packed up camp & drove home with his little wrist all broken.. tough guy!!! Tonight we went to the hospital to visit him before they put him under to set his wrist back & put a soft cast on until the swelling goes down.

When we took this first picture Justin wanted to move his wrist so you could see the bottom cause that was the worst part, but we insisted he didn't move it... so you can just view his nice swelling.
All in all... great day... minust the broken wrist!

Seriously... Sean & his brothers & dad went camping for a few days & left me all alone :( So tonight I've been watching the olympics all by my lonesome, which is ok, cause I love watching womens gymnastics & I know Sean would want to watch Seinfeld episodes instead. So I got on the computer & I seriously never play games on the computer, but I started playing this bubbles game. I was on a freaking role!!!! My top score was 51,--- something. My stupid computer turned pages by itself & I can't tell you my exact score, but I dare you to beat that!!!!!!

90 days & counting....

It's true... only 90 days til this baby is coming!! Crazy to think about!! But I'm starting to think about it more & more. This past weekend my sisters all got together for a sisters day. Part of that day was every sister that is a mom passing on her labor stories & advice. I trust my sisters alot, so their advise means alot to me... even if it may have scared the holy crap out of me! ok, not really, but I do know that I'm getting nervous.
Baby Johnson got his first big present from Grandma & Grandpa Lindblom... a crib!!! We are keeping it at their house, seeings how we will probably be living there when the baby comes. Isn't it beautiful? Simple... beautiful color.. Italian handmade... what more could you want? Besides a baby to put in it... & maybe a cute crib bedding set. Thanx Grandma & Grandpa!!!!!!!

Farewell..

This past weekend Kelli & Tammie came into town for my parents farewell talks in church & to be together one last time before my parents leave on their mission. Needless to say... many tears were shed by me. Not that it even takes something like this to make me cry anymore, but you can imagine how this was magnified by the circumstances!
Saturday all the girls in the fam hung out at my parents, eating food, playing games, & just talking & being with each other. It was wonderful :) Sean went up towards Globe with his brother & dad & took the quad & dirt bike for some fun. One blown tire later, he returned to me by 11pm that night. We both got to spend a little quality time with our families.
Sunday my parents gave their farewell talks in their ward & we all went. My brother in law Andy made a video with pictures of my parents with all the family set to a few hymns & it was so great, it made me cry every time I watched it.

What a great weekend. I love spending time with my family sooo much!! It makes me sad to think that it will be another year & a half before we will all be together again. Alot will have changed by then. My baby will be walking & maybe even talking a little. Tammie will have her baby too, walking & talking. & maybe Kelli will have another in the works by then. Desmond will be driving & Max close to it. Just some food for thought. I know my parents will be amazing missionaries... they are amazing people. Just look at all they brought into the world :) Thanx for the great weekend fam!! Love you all!!! especially Wendi's yummy cupcakes & the great cheese & ham dip yesterday!

My friend Gina at work is always thinking of me & the baby. She went to a dental hygiene convention last weekend & said she just couldn't resist getting this for the baby. Isn't this the cutest????!!!

Have I ever said how great my husband is? Yesterday I got home from work an hour late. I was about to lose it at work. I was so tired & hungry & frustrated, I thought I was gonna die!!! When I got home Sean wasn't there.. I called him & he was next door so I asked him to come home cause I had a bad day. Thing is... it really wasn't that bad, I'm just totally out of control! when he came home he found me on the bed crying. Why? Because I was hungry & tired & I couldn't find any other way to express it but cry. Ridiculous!!!!!! Sean smelled like the smoker neighbor so he had to get away from me, but I didn't want him to leave which made me cry more. Please somebody help me! What is the matter with me?!!! Sean immedietly made me a grilled cheese sandwhich.. what a great guy!

oh yes!

Today I was dreading work... & then I was dreading coming home cause I knew what a freaking wreck it was. I cooked yesterday, didn't do laundry this weekend & then Sean has been rewiring his speakers... so you could understand why I was dreading coming home to another job. when I walked in the door.... clean! Sean cleaned up the house today. I was so happy when I came home!!!!! yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its insane how the smallest thing can mean the most, huh? p.s. Today marks 5 years since Sean & I went on our first "date". The day before my niece Kate was born. Man time flies!!!

Sleepover time!!!!!

Well.. It has been summer & the kids are out of school, so it was sleepover time again.. plus it was Jolie's birthday last week & Katie's this next week. I had invited all the girls over again, plus Grant & then a few days ago Sean started rewiring his speakers. Needless to say, they were not done Friday night & I couldn't cancel!! So my mom was gracious enough to let us invade their house for the evening! We, of course, had pizza & ice cream, but this time I prepared a few games so that we were occupied most the night. Our first game... puzzle races. My mom has these 300 piece Disney poster puzzles, so they each got to pick which one they wanted & it was a race!!

So we took a break & had a small dance party. While we were putting the puzzles together Aniston put some Miley Cirus music on, which although she didn't realize it, I believe energized our team to finish first. We continued to dance after the puzzles for a few minutes. Then... Game B... the flour game. I used to play this when I was younger & thought it was just the funniest. You pack a cup full of flour & then pour out the mold onto a plate (not as easy as I remember) then you put a penny in the center of the flour mold. Each person takes a turn taking a slice out of the mold & whoever makes it fall has to find the penny without using their hands. Great fun... really! Each kid insisted that they have a turn to look for the penny.....

Jocelyn, who swore she wouldn't do it, but ended up purposely cutting a large piece off so she could. she got the gold medal... I swear! She dug right in & didn't come back up til it was in her mouth!
Jocely had a small sneezing episode after she found the penny. I"m not sure I've ever heard someone sneeze that many times in a row... ever!

Even Jolie wanted to do it & I had to give her detailed instructions on how not to inhale the flour. She did well, but I ended up scraping some flour paste off her tongue for a minute or so.
In the end they went a little haywire & started eating the flour & smothering it all over their faces.... crazy kids!!!!
I think we had a good time. There were a few puppet shows & only a few instances of crying.. but when you have 7 kids from 4-11 years old & the time creeps past normal bedtime... I think that should be expected. Gotta love those Ayala & Dillard kids!!!!!! and that Lindblom mom for letting us have somewhere to be!!!

yuck!

On Friday afternoon Michelle gave me a pair of sandals that she said were a little wide & that I may want to use in the future if my feet start to swell. How thoughtful!!! I was kinda hoping that wouldn't happen for awhile. Maybe she had a premonition. The next morning I woke up with sausages for feet. They were huge!!! I'm going to blame it on the large amount of pizza I ate the night before, cause pizza tends to make me feel a little heavy anyway. I spent all yesteday basically trying to keep my feet up & off of them. Today only my left one was slightly swollen, but after church & meetings its working its way back to yesterday. YUCK!!!!!!!! Ditto once again to JoDee's statemenet that women who claim prenancy is amazing are lying through their big pregnant teeth.

ps- notice that the baby ticker on the right will be in double digits after today!!!!! I dreamt last night that we had the baby & that Matt & Kaaryn came to visit & our babies were playing together.. & then I lost our baby. What a great mom I imagine myself to be!!

Sean & I decided to order pizza for dinner... mmm.... pizza!!!! so we did! From Oregano's, a thin crust pepperoni! Sean went in to get it, & guess what? they told us someone already payed for it... wierd!! They didn't want to charge twice for it!! Wahooo.... free pizza!!!!! What a great end to the day :) Thanx to whoever payed for our pizza tonight :)
