This is a little late, but here are some pics from our wonderful Cali trip. We went to Disneyland & that is where my pictures start.

Here is Sean walking on the beach. He really wanted to get in, even though it was really cold outside. I had to be mean & insist that he didn't... I was only saving him from further shivering!!!

Sean refused to let me take the large amount of pictures I usually do at Disneyland. He told me he just wanted to have fun & not pose for pics... what a party pooper!!! Despite the fact that we got our stuff stolen, we actually had a good time. We LOVED Soaring over California at CA adventure... we had never been. We both just laughed the whole time. Sean also told me we couldn't go on Tower of Terror cause I would scare the baby to death... ha ha.
We even got to see Hilary, Darrin & Adam while we were there! Good times :)

We're half way there!!!

Yes, its' true. If you check out the trusty baby counter to your right you will see that the days that we are awaiting the baby are now less than the days I've been pregnant! I'm exactly half way there today!! & what better to landmark than the first kick?

Yesterday I was sitting on the computer at home & leaning forward a bit when I felt two sharp little kicks. I'm pretty sure that I've felt the baby before now, but not really positive, but yesterday.. I was positive!!! He's gonna be a soccer player :)

Today Sean & I found out that we will be having a little boy!!!!! I'm guessing that he may look something like this...


That was, of course Sean when he was a wee little boy. Wasn't he ridiculously adorable? We are still debating/disagreeing about wht baby boy Johnson should be named... more to come on that subject. We are also very happy to announce that he is not a midget. Sean asked the ultrasound woman if she could tell if it was a midget. She assured us he looked very normal.
He kept laying on his little stomach, but she assured us there was no doubt that he is definetly a boy! I've been so excited all day to find out! I even got butterflies a few hours before the appointment.

Things are going pretty good for us otherwise. Sean is not feeling so hot this week, so its been a little rough, but we're making it through. I'm dying without a cord from the camera to the computer so I can post my fathers day pics & every other picture I've taken in the past month & a half. SUCKS!
Anyways.. hopefully this weekend I'll hunt down a cord & I can blog a little more..
until then- ITS A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booyah!

Thats the word I like to use when the bad guy gets his comeuppance. Like when we're watching Law & Order & they find the bad guy guilty. Or when we stay at a hotel, our stuff gets stolen & then the claims department pays up. I think that last part is actually gonna happen. Sean spoke with the claims department of the hotel our stuff got stolen out of & they seemed to be much more helpful when we told them our lawyer was involved & we were willing to do whatever it took (including having the newspaper write that Phoenix families should never stay with them when going to Disneyland unless they want their possessions stoen.... not sure we'd really do that last one, but!) Booyah!

On another note... Did you know how many medications that you CANNOT take when your pregnant? Yeah, pretty much most of them. I got a cold this weekend that has accelerated into a beautiful cough that I can't seem to shake.

There basically nothing I can really do about it except "sleep it off". That dosnt' happen as quickly as I'd like. I actually had to come home from work today because I coudln't stop coughing long enough to talk to a patient. Nobody really enjoys someone coughing over them. By the time I'd finished the cleaning I was sweating so badly from trying not to cough it was embarrassing!! Pregnancy is grand!! so I ended up watching the Learning Channel alot today, which involved the Baby Story & crying on the part of the new mom, as well as me. ahhh!!! Hormones....:)

It just dosn't get any better!!!!

Forgive my small blogging absence. Now I'll explain why....
Last week Sean & I decided to make a little trip to Cali. Disneyland a day... the beach a day... or whatever we wanted!!!!! Woooohooo! Both of us needed a break in the biggest way!! So after work on Friday... off we went! We stayed at the Doubletree hotel in Santa Ana (important part of the story) & woke up on Saturday & spent the day at Disneyland & California Adventure! The pictures we took are fun... but you can't see them.... why? keep listening. When we got out of the car in the parking garage Sean stepped on some money & picked it up... a wad of 20's! Woohoo! Sean however, is a person led by his conscience. The car next to us was a bunch of teenage boys & an adult man. What to do? If we asked them if they dropped money they will say yes whether they did or not! So Sean asked them if they dropped anything. One of the boys checked his pocket & got a panicked look on his face. Money! He was able to tell us exactly how much & in what change so we gave it to him. The man thanked us profusely for doing the honest thing..."what goes around comes around! " he told us matter of factly.
Fast forward to that night.... to my consistant disappointment, we skipped the fireworks & headed back to the hotel cause we were sooo tired! We got back & fell onto the bed. I glanced over to see what time it was & the clock was gone! I told Sean the maid stole the clock! He told me I was crazy. We ordered room service & fell asleep. In the night my phone turned itself off cause the battery died & I thought- when I wake up to go to the bathroom (which now happens 2 times a night) I'll put my phone on the charger. So when I went to look for the charger, guess what was missing? My phone charger, Seans, the battery charger to the digital camera, the cord linking the camera to the laptop, the laptop backpack with cds, dvds, books & our conference issue of the Ensign.... and of course! the laptop. At first I tried to wake Sean up to tell him the chargers were missing & he told me I just forgot to pack them. Then when I realized the laptop was missing & told him, he woke right up!
LONG freaking story short... doubletree dosn't want to take any responsibility for it or re-emburse us. so NEVER stay at a Hilton hotel!!!!!!! This week has been hell. I think.. not sure... that I had some personal info on the laptop so I've spent this week changing passwords, changing bank accounts, & being very frustrated. I wish there was a way to make the last sentence as frustrating as it really is. & you seriously don't realize how much you use a computer & the internet until you don't have them!!!
Enough of the bitterness. I did get to see Hilary while we were in Cali. They fed us dinner & we chatted for awhile. Sean & I did lay on the beach for a little while & it was so cold there was no way I was getting in. Sean of course built a sandcastle & explored the beach. He is such a little boy on the beach! We also watched a small law & order marathon on TNT & layed lazily in bed for hours. The only glitch was that darned theft. Once again I repeat... DONT ever stay at a Doubletree hotel! or at least the one in Santa Ana.
We did have a freaking awesome time at Disneyland/Cali Adventure. We had never been on soaring over California & we both LOVED it! It did kinda suck not being able to go on a few rides for fear of damaging little Johnson. but we still had a great time. I love the Peter Pan ride & Sean hates it cause the line is always really long & I make him wait in it.. so you can guess which ride we did't go on. I did make Sean ride the teacups cause he never had. We seriously ate after ever ride... ride a ride... eat a treat... the Disneyland way!
this morning there was a cockroach in the bathroom & I made Sean "take care of it" his way to take care of it was to put the plunger over it til he felt like letting it free outside (ridiculous!) I thought... I should totally take a picture of that... & then remember that even though I have a camera... the battery is almost dead & there is no way to get the picture out of the camera without taking it to the store. POOOO!
I love cameras & being able to put picutres on the computer whenever I want!!!!!! so.. I am putting a small picture show for you on the blog, pics I took on the little built in-cam a few months ago.

This was what I got on mothers day... a nice rose bush in a pretty pot!!!!!
Every day this week I've watched my little rose bush turn into beautiful blooms. I never thought every morning as I walked to my car to go to work, I would leave with a big smile on my face simply because of this! I've loved every morning this week!!! & today... here they are!
My gosh those are gorgeous!!!! I never thought that stopping to smell the roses would make that big a difference... but it does!!!!

A bag of dirt...

I thought it would be to my advantage to tell Sean that the doctor said that from now on I shouldn't be lifting more than 20 lbs. "Sean... I don't think I should be lifting that!!" what a great excuse to not lift things!!! Well... we may not be in our little house much longer & Sean is tying to get our curb appeal as good as it is in the winter. We've had trouble every summer trying to keep a yard. So we are putting sod in & Sean is planting a few more plants. He has been workign hard at it. "I can't waste daylight! " he keeps telling me as he works away. Well he ran out of some kind of dirt-mulch stuff & asked me to go to Home Depot for it but insisted I ask someone to carry it for me cause it is so big. I told him I'm not gonna act like some helpless little woman! He got mad & told me he would go instead. I told him I wouldn't carry it (thinking I would anyway), so off I went. Well, I found it & made it to the cashier, but it was a little heavier than I anticipated. I asked if there was a spare cart around & of course there wasn't. So I started to drag the bag out of the garden center when this old man walked by & asked if he could help me. I told him I would love some help!! So he hoisted this mulch on his back & carried it to our truck for me. I thanked him profusely & then got in the truck. Here is the part where I cry because the man was so nice. What is the matter with me?!!! I'm so out of control with the crying.. its ridiculous!!!!!!!
